Food delivery major Zomato on Wednesday said it is making its take-away service employ free for its restaurant partners. “We will not be charging any commission, and will also forego the payment gateway charges we incur on all takeaway orders,” Zomato said in a blog post. Zomato claims it has a run rate of 110% GMV in its delivery business and has reported zero covid transmissions through food or packaging.
