Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), Pradeep Ranganthan’s most recent film, had a successful first weekend at the box office. Over the course of the three-day weekend, the film brought in over Rs. 25.25 crore, of which Rs. 8 crore came on Sunday.
The sci-fi comedy drama saw an encouraging increase on Saturday, but its Sunday decline is unsatisfactory. On Sunday, it should have ideally recorded a jump. Tuesday is a major holiday, which will maintain collections for the next two days before declining.
Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), which is led by Vignesh Sivan, is performing well in its native market, earning Rs. 16.75 crore in its first weekend of operation. The film brought in about Rs. 2.75 crore from Karnataka and Rs. 5 crore from Telugu. About Rs. 75 lakh came from the rest of India. To secure a favourable verdict, the Pradeep Ranganathan film must maintain a solid hold during the week.
The story of Vasu, a young man who lives in a society where technology controls every aspect of life, including love, is told in Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), which is set in 2040. When Vasu falls in love with Dheema, an incompatible match, he becomes the only person who poses a challenge to the love insurance company’s promise that their software can successfully match every relationship through an algorithm.
The movie explores how Vasu overcomes a corporate adversary to win Dheema over and complete their love tale. Krithi Shetty, SJ Suryah, Gouri G Kishan, Yogi Babu, and others have significant roles in the film in addition to Pradeep Ranganathan, who plays the lead.
