
Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, debuted to mixed reviews but has performed well at the box office in India. According to Sacnilk.com, the film has earned ₹105.44 crore net in India after 5 days of release.
The film grossed ₹51 crore on its opening day in India. Unfortunately, the film was unable to maintain its momentum and saw a significant drop over the weekend. Game Changed grossed ₹21.6 crore on the second day and ₹15.9 crore on Sunday. On Monday, net collections in India decreased to ₹ 7.65 crore.
On its fifth day of release, Game Changer had an overall occupancy of 34.13 percent in its Telegu screens. The film is facing stiff competition from another big release, Balakrishna-starrer Daaku Maharaaj, which hit theatres on January 12. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is still going strong after a month of release, with the team already announcing that they will release 20 minutes of added footage on January 17.
Game Changer is the first Telugu film directed by Shankar. He has never collaborated with Ram before. Key characters in the movie are played by Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Samuthirakani, and Jayaram.
Thaman S. wrote the music for the movie. The film was produced by Sirish Dil Raju and Zed Studios under the auspices of Sri Venkateshwara Creations and Dil Raju Productions.
