Cristiano Ronaldo reveals his biggest challenge in Saudi Pro League

Cristiano Ronaldo talked about the big differences he faced in living and playing in Saudi Arabia as compared to Europe. Following his fallout with Manchester United, Ronaldo secured a transfer to the Saudi Pro League during the winter transfer window last season. The 38-year-old finished his debut season at All Nassr trophyless, although he did shine on the pitch on a couple of occasions.

Ronaldo’s time at Manchester United came to an end when he publicly slammed the club and manager Erik Ten Hag in an interview with Piers Morgan. His contract with the English giants was terminated when he chose to leave Europe and join Al Nassr.

Ronaldo, one of the best players of all time, stated that the biggest difference he noticed in Saudi Arabia was the weather, but he has now adapted to the heat.

“The biggest difference I have found in Saudi is obviously the heat and adapting schedules to train later in the day when it is cooler,” he said in his capacity as LiveScore ambassador. He also added, “But I have really gotten used to that now. The fans here have been incredible to me, welcoming me, and those that follow me to continue on this amazing journey.”

He also stated that he is proud of his time in Europe, where he won every club football trophy.
