Lionel Messi reveals how he is enjoying being a champion of ‘everything’

Lionel Messi has signed a big contract with MLS club Inter Miami, starting a new chapter in his career. Argentina’s captain won the FIFA World Cup in December of last year and was named the tournament’s best player.

Inter Miami might be Messi’s final club after a remarkable career in which he has won 7 Ballon d’Or awards, the most by any player in history and 43 titles. The forward is presently on international duty with Argentina and just scored in a friendly win against Australia. During a new interaction with Adidas Football, he also hinted at retirement.

Chatting with Adidas Football, the Argentina captain said that he was grateful to have won everything in his career. “Now almost at the end of my career to finish in this way as a champion of everything is something I’m enjoying immensely. ”

He added, “I learned it’s not only about winning, but the journey itself also teaches valuable life lessons and I believe that desire to achieve, the willingness to try, especially when things may or may not work out is crucial. Never give up on your dreams. ”

Messi was booed by PSG supporters on several occasions during his time there. In their final Ligue 1 match, which they lost, he was again booed. Despite the defeat, they won the league title.
