John Terry has confirmed his return to Chelsea, sending fans into a meltdown. After playing his final match in a Blues shirt, the club legend left the club in 2017.
And now that Terry is teaming up with the academy this summer, the wait for his comeback is finally over. On social media, the former captain made an announcement of his arrival and stated: “I’m delighted to be back Home working in the Academy.” The news amazed Chelsea fans, who welcomed the former defender back with open arms.

In 2005, the former England international won the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award after making 717 appearances for the club.
Terry’s most recent role was at Leicester, where, while working under Dean Smith, he failed to keep the Foxes in the Premier League. They also worked at Aston Villa, where they assisted the Villans in their promotion from the Championship.
