During the Monday Night Raw “Day 1” special in San Diego, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stunned everyone with his unexpected return. Triple H had earlier promised that a ‘former WWE Champion’ would be appearing on the show as Jinder Mahal walked out to announce himself and tore into the people and politics of the United States.
The Rock interrupted Mahal and went on to call the former the “Day One Douchebag,” prompting the audience to chant the same in unison. As The Rock encouraged the audience to mock Mahal, he responded by attacking the Hollywood star.
Ultimately, The Rock responded by giving Mahal a People’s Elbow and picking up the mic again. He asked the audience that after getting into a fight, he was hungry and needed to eat something, then asked the people in San Diego if he should sit at a booth, bar, or the Head of the Table.
The last suggestion is a tease for a matchup with Roman Reigns.
