Just months after their spectacular Rajasthani wedding in December 2018, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas claimed to have paid $20 million for their lavish home in September 2019. According to Page Six, they have now left the property. As per the report, water damage at Nick and Priyanka’s luxurious Los Angeles mansion resulted in a mold infestation, starting a legal battle that has been ongoing since May 2023.
As the portal, the couple alongside their two-year-old daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, have shifted to another house. It is unclear when the family of three intends to return, but a source informed the portal that there is currently no one living at the home and it is not being rented.
Seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms a chef’s kitchen, a temperature-controlled wine room, an indoor basketball court, an inside bowling alley, a home theatre, an entertainment lounge, a spa with a steam room, a full-service gym, and a billiards room are reportedly features of the couple’s Los Angeles home. Priyanka has frequently shared photos of the home on Instagram.
According to a copy of a complaint filed in May 2023 and obtained exclusively by Page Six, the pool and spa began to cause problems for Priyanka and Nick around April 2020, including ‘porous waterproofing’ that ‘fostered mold contamination and related issues’.
As per to their complaint, at or around the same time, a water leak appeared at the BBQ area on the deck, which ‘damaged a portion of the interior living area immediately below the deck’. Due to its issues, the house was reportedly “virtually unlivable” and “dangerous to occupy from a health perspective.”
