Premier League: Manchester United Vs Liverpool fixture gets delayed due to protest by Manchester fans

Premier League fixture between Manchester United and Liverpool, which was supposed to take place at Old Trafford, was delayed due to the protest by the Manchester United fans against the Glazer family, who own the Manchester club.

Fans stormed inside the stadium by breaking the fences and entered the Munich tunnel underneath the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand at around 9 am.

The fans didn’t enter the dressing rooms yet and players are safe in the protest. The protest against the Glazer family has taken place after the club tried to enter the European Super League, which eventually failed after mass protest by fans and other football pundits.

Manchester United Fans have not been happy with the Glazer family from a long time as they think Glazers’ are the reason why the club went into a huge debt of £301.7 m in this quarter. Also the club haven’t won the league in a long time and has lost the luster that it had earlier.
