BCCI to contribute 10-Litre 2000 Oxygen Concentrators to fight against COVID-19

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced to contribute 10-Litre 2000 Oxygen concentrators that will help to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Monday, May 24, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced to contribute 10-Litre 2000 Oxygen concentrators that will help to fight the war to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic. India is witnessing nationwide oxygen and medical equipment shortage after the outbreak of the second wave of COVID-19 disease.

Hoping to provide medical assistance and care to the needy, BCCI will distribute oxygen concentrators and medical equipment all over India. Former Cricketer and President of BCCI Sourav Ganguly appreciated the role medical and healthcare workers, who have played and continues to play their role in fighting against the deadly virus. Also, he said that the BCCI always puts health and safety at the top and for the speedy recovery of patients, BCCI will be providing oxygen concentrators.

He said, “The BCCI acknowledges the stellar role the medical and healthcare community has played and continues to play as we fight this long battle against the virus. They have truly been frontline warriors and have done whatever possible to shield us. The Board has always put health and safety at the top of the chart and remains committed to the cause. The oxygen concentrators will provide immediate relief to those affected and will help in their speedy recovery.”

And Honorary Secretary of BCCI Jay Shah said that we’ll jointly fight against this virus, and BCCI knows about the serious need for equipment in India. After supplying the oxygen concentrators and other related pieces of equipment will help in reducing the shortage. And, he urged everyone to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
