Here is the list of actors who left us during the pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic threatens to wreak havoc on the planet, with more people catching COVID-19 as the days pass. The celebrity world has been cruel this year, with some of the most well-known actors bidding farewell to this world and departing for their heavenly abode. Although several people have survived, others have died as a result of the illness’s complications. Here is the list of actors who left us during the pandemic.

1. Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor, the Bollywood heartthrob and national award-winning actor, died on April 30. Kapoor’s second act as an actor, known for his romantic roles, was much better than his first. From ‘Mera Naam Joker’ to ‘102 Not Out,’ the star has left us with a long list of memorable performances. Kapoor was diagnosed with leukaemia and admitted to H N Reliance Hospital. The 67-year-old actor was a member of the Kapoor family’s third generation of actors. Rishi Kapoor leaves behind a wife, Neetu Kapoor, a son, Ranbir, and a daughter, Ridhima.

2. Irrfan Khan

Irrfan Khan, a Padma Shri recipient and one of Bollywood’s most talented actors, died on April 29, 2020. On April 28, Khan was brought to the ICU of Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital with a colon infection. In 2018, he was identified with a neuroendocrine tumour. Khan’s most recent film appearance was in ‘Angrezi Medium.’ He was among the most talented actors the world has seen in recent years.

3. Sushant Singh Rajput

On June 14, actor Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, committed suicide at his Bandra home. Rajput, who has appeared in films like ‘Kai Po Che!’ and ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story,’ was most recently seen in ‘Chhichhore.’

4. Bikramjeet Kanwarpal

Bikramjeet Kanwarpal, a well-known actor, died today as a result of COVID-19 complications. Bikramjeet started his acting career in Bollywood in 2003, with the film Page 3. On May 1, the 52-year-old actor breathed his last breath. Bikramjeet, a former army soldier, was well-known for his supporting roles in TV shows and Bollywood films. He went on to star in a number of films later in his career.

5. Divya Bhatnagar

Divya Bhatnagar, known professionally for her role  in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,’ passed away on December 7 from complications caused by the coronavirus COVID-19. She was 34 years old at the time. After testing positive for COVID-19, Divya Bhatnagar was referred to a Mumbai hospital in a serious state . She died as a result of a cardiac arrest.

6. Shafique Ansari

Shafique Ansari, a well-known actor best known for his role in the TV series “Crime Patrol,” died of cancer on  May 10. He was 52 years old at the time. Ansari fought thoracic cancer for two years and was recently been diagnosed with a lung infection. He has been a member of the film industry since 1974 and has contributed to the writing of some of the best films. Since 2008, Shafique has been a member of CINTAA.
