‘X-Men: Days of the Future Past’ actor Adan Canto passed away after a battle with cancer. According to Variety, the actor died from appendiceal cancer.
At the age of 42, Adan Canto, a well-known actor most recognized for his roles in “The Cleaning Lady” and “X-Men,” passed away. Canto battled cancer privately.
In the television series ‘The Cleaning Lady,’ Canto played Arman Morales, a gangster who recruits a mother as a cleaner after she witnesses a gruesome murder. The second season ended with Arman jailed and Thony left to look after his affairs. Season 3 is currently in development and is set to air on March 5.
Adan Canto is survived by his spouse Stephanie Ann Canto and their two children, Roman Alder and Eve Josephine.
Canto made his American acting debut in 2013 with the Fox murder thriller series ‘The Following,’ featuring Kevin Bacon. He later got roles in Netflix’s crime thriller “Narcos,” ABC’s sitcom “Mixology,” “Blood and Oil,” and “Second Chance.” In 2014, he got his first big movie role as the superhero Sunspot in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
