The Bollywood film Metro In Dino, starring Anurag Basu, is eagerly awaited. Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur are among the notable cast members of the anthology. The movie has previously been postponed, and according to new reports, it may now be released in 2026.
It has since been discovered that this is untrue, and Metro In Dino will still be released in 2025. A representative for Metro In Dino’s producers, T-Series, responded to recent reports that the movie will be delayed. The release of the movie this year was confirmed by the statement.
“We confirm the movie releasing this year in 2025, contrary to some media reports claiming that Metro In Dino is getting pushed,” it said.
According to a Times of India article earlier, it appeared that Metro In Dino had experienced yet another delay. The portal stated that because filmmaker Anurag Basu was becoming preoccupied with his love picture starring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela, the film might not be released till 2026. However, the creators have now refuted this.
On February 15, 2025, Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela formally announced their untitled project. The group unveiled the first glimpse of Anurag Basu’s next musical romance. Kartik channelled rockstar feelings on a stage and had a gruff appearance in the announcement video.
He was spotted humming the song Tu Meri Zindagi Hai from the film Aashiqui while strumming a guitar. He and Sreeleela’s love moments were also captured on camera.
The film is scheduled for release on Diwali in 2025. The next entry in the well-liked Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, will rival it. Metro In Dino, on the other hand, is supposedly a spiritual follow-up to Life in a Metro, which was released in 2007 by Anurag Basu.
Among the cast members are Anupam Kher, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sensharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Ali Fazal. Four distinct touching tales of lovers in a contemporary setting are purportedly told in the romance film.
