Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali celebrated his 62nd birthday on Monday evening, surrounded by close friends and industry colleagues. Among the attendees were actors Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal, who have teamed up with Bhansali for his upcoming film Love and War.
Dressed elegantly for the occasion, Alia wore a cream top with matching trousers, Ranbir opted for a blue shirt and white pants, while Vicky chose a black full-sleeved T-shirt with matching pants. Bhansali opted for a black kurta and white pyjama. The trio posed together for the paparazzi alongside the filmmaker, exchanging warm hugs before heading into the venue.
Love and War marks Ranbir Kapoor’s first collaboration with Bhansali since his 2007 debut Saawariya. Vicky Kaushal, on the other hand, is working with the director for the first time, while Alia reunites with Bhansali after the success of Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022). The film was officially announced in January 2024, with the makers teasing it as “an epic saga.” It is expected to go on floors soon.
Meanwhile, Vicky was recently seen in Chhaava, which has earned over ₹400 crore worldwide. Alia will next be seen in Alpha, a part of YRF’s spy universe, set for a December 25 release. Ranbir was last seen in Animal, alongside Triptii Dimri and Rashmika Mandanna.
