When asked about the recent summoning by ED of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s wife, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh replied saying that whomever speak against BJP or its leader faces legal actions from central authorities. Taking another jib at BJP he said that using Enforcement Directorate for the political purposes is not how the government to Maharashtra operates.
Whereas CBI is concerned, it cannot be probed in any case in Maharashtra without the permission of the state government.
