On March 12, through a series of tweets on X (formerly Twitter), the singer responded to fans who criticized his music and requested the return of the “old Armaan.”
Armaan highlighted the challenges artists face, stating, “Working in silence is tougher than it seems. It takes years of patience and resilience to prepare for the moment your talent and hard work are finally recognized.” Reflecting on his journey, he shared how he began singing at the age of eight, landed his first song at 18, and fulfilled his dream of singing in English at 24.
Addressing claims that he only sings “easy songs,” Armaan emphasized his versatility. “Every artist evolves, shedding their old skin to become a better version of themselves,” he said. He urged listeners to explore his diverse work, mentioning tracks like Pehla Pyaar, Humnawaa with A.R. Rahman, and Ghalib Hona Hai with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
