Veteran actor Aruna Irani has reassured her fans about her health after a video of her arriving at Mumbai airport in a wheelchair, holding crutches, went viral. In an interview with Hindustan Times, the actor opened up about her recent fall in Bangkok, which left her with a fractured foot.
“I’m absolutely fine now,” Aruna said, easing concerns from fans. She shared that her plaster will be removed soon, and she expects to walk again within ten days. “I want to tell all my fans not to worry. Dealing with the fracture and a viral infection was tough, but I am recovering well. I love my fans and thank them for their concern,” she added.
Recalling the incident, Aruna revealed, “I was walking in Bangkok when I slipped and fell. That led to my injury.” Despite the accident, the actor remains in high spirits. In the viral video, she was seen singing the classic Haal Kaisa Hai Janaab Ka from the film Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi.
Currently resting at her home in Mumbai, Aruna is focusing on her recovery. “I will start walking slowly again after a week,” she said.Aruna Irani, who began her acting career as a child artist in the 1961 film Gunga Jumna, is celebrated for her roles in iconic films like Farz, Bobby, and Rocky.
