Athiya posted a photo of KL Rahul on the field on Instagram. That wasn’t all. She posted a photo of herself watching KL’s celebration on TV along with the word “ufff” on Instagram Stories after Rahul scored a century. Athiya posted another story after the innings ended, labeling it “just insane.”
After meeting through a common friend in January 2019, Athiya and Rahul developed a close relationship almost away. The couple married in 2023 at Athiya’s father Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse after courting for a few years. On Rahul’s 33rd birthday last year, the couple announced the name of their daughter, Evaarah.
