Badminton player Kento Momota tests positive for COVID-19

Japan’s Kento Momota has tested positive for COVID-19  and will not be participating in the Thailand Open. Momota had earlier suffered from a car crash and was on a year long sabbatical and was recovering and this was going to serve as his comeback but destiny seems to have another’s plans for him. Not only Momota but all of Japan’s players will not be participating in the Thailand open after Momota tested positive and the Japan sports federation has decided to completely withdraw from the competition.
