Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone shared a cute moment at the 77th British Academy Film Awards, where she received another award for Poor Things.
Ryan applauded and even winked at Emma as she got up from her seat to come to the stage after being named Best Actress. Emma smiled at him.

The stars’ fans were overjoyed to see them in a frame together. “Sebastian applauding Mia Dolan actually,” said one on X, referring to Ryan and Emma’s characters in La La Land. Another wrote, “This award season has such 2017 vibes with these two.” In 2017, La La Land dominated the awards season.
Emma was nominated for Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things and won the award. Ryan’s role as Ken in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor. In the end, Robert Downey Jr. took home the award for Oppenheimer.
Emma applauded her mother as she accepted her award. She said, “Because she’s the best person I know in the whole world and she inspires me every single day. She’s always made me believe this kind of crazy idea that I could do something like this and I’m beyond grateful. Without her none of this exists – including my life! So thank you for that too, mom!”
