Brad Pitt’s ‘Bullet Train’ set to release in April 2022

‘Bullet Train,’ action movie directed by David Leitch, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Michael Shannon, Joey King, Brian Tyree Henry and Sandra Bullock is all set to release in April 2022.

David Leitch directed a movie, following a group of assassins on a train in Tokyo, Japan and later realise that their assignments are related. The movie stars Brad Pitt alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Michael Shannon, Joey King, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Benito A Martínez Ocasio and Sandra Bullock. It was also reported that Lady Gaga is expected to make an appearance.

As per the announcement made by Sony Pictures, the new actioner movie ‘Bullet Train’ will release on April 8. 2022. The film will screen in IMAX theatres and other large premium formats.

According to a report by Vulture, Greg Rementer, the second-unit director and stunt coordinator on ‘Bullet Time’ said , ““Brad did 95 percent of his physical stunts — the fighting,” they added, “He’s like a natural-born athlete. He really got in there!”

The screenplay of the film is written by Zak Olkewics, based on the Japanese novel ‘Maria Beetle’ written by Kotaro Isaka. Leitch will produce the film along with Kelly McCormick and Antoine Fuqua and the executive producers include Ryosuke Saegusa, Yuma Terada, Brent O’Connor and Kat Samick.

The movie will run against Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Robert Eggers’ Viking epic The Northman, as well as a Disney live-action movie and an event film from Universal.

Sony Pictures has also announced the release date of Kitao Sakurai’s new comedy film ‘Oh Hell No’, set to release on July 1, 2022. The movie will run against ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru.’
