Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is just 12 runs away from becoming only the 10th player in ODI history and the fourth Indian to surpass 11,000 ODI runs. If he reaches the milestone in his 260th innings, Rohit will become the second-fastest batter to achieve this feat, surpassing Sachin Tendulkar (276 innings). Virat Kohli currently holds the record as the fastest batter, reaching 11,000 ODI runs in just 222 innings.

Rohit made his ODI debut on June 23, 2007, against Ireland in Belfast and has since amassed 10,988 runs in 268 matches. If he scores at least 12 runs in the Champions Trophy match against Bangladesh, he will join an elite list of batters with 11,000+ ODI runs.
