In a letter signed by the leader of the opposition, Devinder Singh Babla and various party members the councillors has asked for the resignation of Chandigarh MP Kirron Kher. The letter states that the people of Chandigarh feel cheated and neglected by their MP and they were wrong in choosing her as their representative. The councillors has also asked for the resignation of the Mayor stating the incompetence in bring any new development agenda during her seven month run so far. Opposition believes BJP is only interested in petty politics.
