Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane have joined forces at Al Nassr, creating the most threatening frontline in the Saudi Pro League during the summer transfer season. Mane joins the Saudi club following his transfer from Bayern Munich and made his debut for his new team.
Ronaldo enjoyed the presence of a new high-quality winger alongside him and despite slowing down in recent years, the duo remains a creative and lethal combination. Ronaldo scored the first goal in their Arab Club Champions Cup quarterfinal against Raja Casablanca of Morocco, as the Saudi club won 3-1 and advanced to the semifinals.
Ronaldo’s goal gave Al Nassr the lead with a beautifully taken left-footed strike after Anderson Talisca had set him up on the edge of the box. The celebration that followed saw a humorous moment between the Portuguese star and his new Senegalese partner when Ronaldo set off to do his famous ‘siuu’ celebration and asked Mane to join him.

Ronaldo will be hoping that the arrival of Mane in the Al Nassr squad will help drive the club to a league title and silverware in cup competitions as well. Al Nassr was at the top of the table when Ronaldo arrived in a sensational transfer from Manchester United last December, but they fell behind as Al Ittihad won the title.
