CSK vs RCB: Ravindra Jadeja roars single-handedly to grant CSK a swift win against RCB

Chennai Super kings dominated Royal Challengers Bangalore to register a 69 run win, Jadeja proves to be the hero for CSK

Chennai Super Kings completely dominated Bangalore at Wankhede to claim an easy win by a huge margin of xx runs. RCB who has been undefeated in the first four matches finally face their first loss playing against CSK.

Chennai won the toss and decided to bat first and it worked spectacularly for them.  Faf du Plessis (50) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (33) gave Chennai a head start with 51 runs off the first six overs. Although Chennai was pushed to the backfoot in the mid-overs by Harshal Patel after dismissing du Plessis and Suresh Raina (25) in two comprehensive deliveries. He later sent Ambati Rayudu back to the pavilion for 14 off 7 balls.

However, Jadeja turned the tables upside down with his explosive innings with a quick fifty in just 25 deliveries. But it was a treat to the eyes to watch him slaughter Harshal Patel for a 37 off the last over, making it the most expensive over in the IPL history.

RCB had a great start with Devdutt Padikkal scoring boundaries on every other ball. RCB scored a total of 65 in the first six but also lost both openers Virat Kohli (8) and Devdutt Padikkal (34), who looked in great touch with the bat.

However, Jadeja wasn’t done with dominating the other side, he even did the magic with the ball seizing three wickets including both the power hitters Ab de Villers (4) and Glenn Maxwell (22). He also sent Daniel Christian (1)  back to the pavilion with a brilliant run out. Imran Tahir took two wickets in his debut match for this season. Sam Curran and Shardul Thakur contributed with one wicket each.

Chennai Super Kings pushes Royal Challengers Bangalore to the second spot, to stand in the first position of the points table. Without any doubt, Ravinder Jadeja was awarded the man-of-the-match for his tremendous all over performance throughout the game helping CSK win by 69 runs.
