According to Business Standard, DishTV on Friday said the government had sent them a demand notice payable of Rs 4,164.05 crore which includes licence fees and interest. The MIB in a letter to Essel Group has asked the firm to pay the sum amount of licence fee from the period from the date of issuance of DTH licence till the financial year 2018-19. The cable operator is directed to pay the amount within a period of 15 days.
