On the occasion of National Voter’s Day of India i.e., January 25, 2021 the Election Commission of India has launched e-EPIC. e-EPIC is a secure PDF account which can be downloaded on mobile or can be used to self print the voter card from computer.
A voter can digital store their voter’s identity card, can self print the card or upload it as a PDF on Digi locker and can use this in the upcoming five state elections.
This is the another step taken by the Election Commission to go to the digital route and a new steps towards Indian government initiative of “Digital India.”
