Firing between BSF and Pakistani smugglers at Tarn Taran on Saturday morning with BSF recovering 14 packets of heroin.
According to sources, the BSF jawans saw some smugglers throwing some plastic pipe like substance into the Indian Territory. On which, BSF jawans warned following which Pakistani smugglers started firing.
BSF soldiers retaliated leading to Pakistani smugglers fleeing. This consignment was being sent through a pipe from Tsharo to Pakistan. This seizure has been made by the 103 battalions at BSF at BOP Khaleda.
The police is yet to find out the traffickers to whom such a huge consignment was to be delivered.
