“Get Well Christian” t-shirts were worn by Finland players during the warm-up ahead of their clash with Russia

Finland players wore some special t-shirts wishing Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen’s recovery ahead of their game against Russia, in their warm-up session that read “Get Well Christian”.

Danish midfielder, Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch during Denmark’s opening Euro 2020 game against Finland which distressed the whole sports fraternity. The game was immediately stopped and later suspended temporarily by UEFA following a medical emergency for the player. Eriksen was performed CPR before he was transferred to the hospital for further check-up. The football fraternity wished for his wellness and prayed for his health and good news from his side. Later it was said that the player suffered cardiac arrest. The match was resumed after he was awake and breathing. Despite winning, Finland players did not celebrate the goal in concern for the player’s health. Eriksen’s Inter-Milan teammate scored a goal and dedicated it to him straight to the camera saying “Cris I Love you”! Achraf Hakimi was also able to devote his goal to the player.

The midfielder’s condition is now better and is recovering in the hospital. From Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, etc to players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane and Indian cricket legend Sourav Ganguly, everyone prayed for his wellness.

The player thanked everyone for their greetings via social media and confirmed that he is in the better stage now.
