Go Air flying passengers and not cargo, returned midway

The Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation is looking into the Go Air airlines for flying a cargo flight and carrying passengers from Chennai to Port Blair on Tuesday. The flight was prohibited from landing at the Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair. The G8 aircraft carrying 160 passengers had to make a turn mid air due to operational reasons. The plane finally landed in Chennai after misleading the travellers and giving them inadequate reasons for not being able to land on the islands.
