Godrej expands infrastructure footprint with crash barrier deployment on expressway

Godrej Enterprises Group has strengthened its presence in India’s infrastructure sector with the installation of advanced crash barrier systems on the Mumbai–Pune Expressway Missing Link project.

The deployment, carried out in collaboration with DELTABLOC®, marks the introduction of globally benchmarked vehicle restraint systems in India.

The company said the project aligns with its broader involvement in major infrastructure developments, including the Mumbai Coastal Road, Versova–Bandra Sea Link, Mumbai Metro Rail, and the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train project.

The Missing Link project, led by MSRDC, is expected to enhance safety and reduce travel time on the expressway.

Anup Mathew said, “As India builds the infrastructure that will power its next phase of growth, safety must be built into every major project and milestone. With DELTABLOC®, we are enabling the introduction of a globally proven vehicle restraint technology in India for the first time, backed by our engineering expertise and execution capabilities. We are proud glad to work with leading government and public authorities toward supporting their endeavour to develop safer highways and stronger transport infrastructure.”
