Golfer Tiger Woods hospitalized after car crash in Los Angeles

Professional Golf player Tiger Woods was hospitalized in Los Angeles on Tuesday after a car ‘rollover’ accident. His SUV rolled off the road several times for up to 100 feet. He suffered from multiple injuries in both legs.

The golfer was pulled out through the windshield of the car by LA police and emergency services. The incident took place around 7 AM PST. The golfer’s manager said that he was into surgery, the chief of the Los Angeles County Fire Department informed that he had “broken bones in both his legs.”

Woods was driving at a comparably higher speed according to a sheriff on the scene, though the actual cause of the crash has not been investigated yet.

Many sports legends like Mike Tyson, Justin Thomas, Earvin Magic Johnson wrote on Twitter wishing his fast recovery. Former US President Barack Obama also wished a speedy recovery to the “GOAT of golf.”
