Taking to Instagram, the Sanam Teri Kasam actor shared a picture of a Zomato delivery executive battling the flooded roads. Alongside the image, he wrote, “Guys pls make your own food today,” urging people to avoid ordering online during such extreme weather. His message struck a chord with netizens, sparking conversations on empathy and the responsibility to consider the risks delivery personnel face in hazardous conditions.
The post comes at a time when thousands of delivery workers continue to brave unsafe routes to fulfill orders despite the city’s severe weather crisis. Many fans praised Rane for shedding light on an often overlooked issue, applauding his call for compassion.
On the professional front, Harshvardhan has an exciting lineup of films. His upcoming release Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, directed by Milap Zaveri and co-starring Sonam Bajwa, is set to arrive in theatres on October 31 after its earlier date of October 2 was shifted to avoid clashing with Kantara Chapter 1. He will also be seen in Omung Kumar’s Silaa, featuring Sadia Khateeb and Karan Veer Mehra, with its release date yet to be announced.
