Tottenham is confident that Heung-min Son will sign a new deal to stay at the club. This news has been bolstered by the news that Antonio Conte could be unveiled as the new Tottenham Hotspurs manager. Spurs have been in advanced talks with the Italian over budget concerns and the future of Harry Kane. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has assured Conte of backing with a sizable transfer budget and is also hopeful of urging Harry Kane to stay at the club.
Son has been influential for Spurs in the last few seasons and his future at the club could also be decisive from Conte’s perspective. Spurs reportedly have no concerns about a new deal and are confident that the South Korean winger will sign a new deal soon.

The exit of Jose Mourinho cast uncertainty over a new deal being signed. Son’s existing deal runs out in 2023 and there were reports of the club pushing for a new deal to be signed back in January to keep Son at the club long term.
Securing Son’s future might also help in keeping Kane at the club. Kane and Son have struck up one of the most prolific partnerships in Premier League history, and in March they set a league record of 14 goal combinations in a single season.
Son scored 22 goals and assisted a further 17 for Tottenham last season.
