Hinduja Family Remains UK’s Richest for Fifth Consecutive Year

The Hinduja family has once again topped The Sunday Times Rich List 2026, retaining its position as the richest family in the United Kingdom for the fifth consecutive year with a fortune estimated at £38 billion.

Sanjay and Dheeraj Hinduja and family lead the globally diversified Hinduja Group, which operates in 38 countries across sectors including mobility, digital technology, banking and financial services, healthcare, energy, media, and real estate.

Despite global economic and policy challenges, the Group has continued to expand its international presence while increasing investments in India’s electric mobility sector, including EV charging infrastructure.

The Group’s operations continue to be guided by the philosophy of founder Late Shri Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja: “My Dharma is to work so that I can give.”

Apart from business, the Hinduja Foundation drives initiatives in education, healthcare, sustainable rural development, and water conservation across communities globally.

The Sunday Times Rich List 2026 includes around 350 entries and is regarded as one of the UK’s most closely watched annual wealth rankings.
