
Leader of Opposition, Congress’s Ghulam Nabi Azad is retiring on Feb 15 when his term comes to an end and was bid farewell in Rajya Sabha on Feb 09. PM Narendra Modi was seen getting emotional while talking about Ghulam Nabi Azad in his Parliament speech.
PM Modi talked about how Ghulam Ji was not only worried about his party only but also about the House and India’s development too. He shared passion for gardening too which isn’t known by many.
“I would consider him a true friend. I would not let you retire, will continue taking your advice. My doors are always open for you,” said the Prime Minister of India.
Many names are being considered for his replacement as the Leader of the Opposition, P Chidambaram, Anand Sharma, Digvijaya Singh are the few names that have come forward so far.
