Indian Cricket Board is considering adding 2 new teams in the mix for the next year IPL season. Adani Group and RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group has already shown interest in buying new teams. Currently there are 8 team in IPL. The spokesperson from BCCI said that they wanted to make IPL team an even number of 10 for quite sometime now and hopefully they’ll come to a decision and will have two new teams in IPL 2021. IPL is currently valued at $6.8 billion in brand value.
