The 14th Edition of the IPL is all set to begin from April 9, 2021with RCB facing Mumbai Indians in the opening encounter in Chennai. The tournament will span for 56 days and will continue till May 30, 2021. The first phase of the tournament will initially be held behind closed doors due to the rise of covid cases in the country. The tournament will be held in five venues- Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore with no team getting the home advantage.
