In the afternoon match between SRH and PBKS, Khaleel Ahmad produced an amazing spell on a slow Chepauk wicket to restrict the big batting lineup of Punjab to a mere 120. Punjab wasn’t even able to play the full quota of 20 overs as they were all out in 19.3 overs.
Khaleel replacing the recent Rise to glory Tamil Nadu bowler Natarajan in the side produced an impressive spell of 3-21 in his four overs. Khaleel coming in as the first change after Abhishek Sharma and Bhuveneshwar Kumar. He came and straight away picked up the danger man Mayank Aggarwal.
He came back for his second spell and made sure that there was no late rampage by PBKS batsman as he got both the finishers in Shahrukh Khan and Fabian Allen before they could get going after settling in. He ended his impressive spell so and made sure Punjab couldn’t reach a fighting total on a tough batting surface.
