IPL 2021: RCB wicketless in the powerplay for the first time

MS Dhoni after winning the toss chose to bat first against Virat Kohli’s RCB. RCB has been very dominant both with the bat and the ball as they are on an unbeaten run. CSK was up on a good start as both their opening batsmen looked in full flow and they went on to make 51 without any loss in the first six overs.

This was the first instance this season that RCB failed to pick up any wickets during the powerplay, as in the previous four matches they were up and running with the ball quickly. RCB eventually went on to pick Ruturaj Gaikwad in the 10th over but CSK is already looking to post a big total on the board.
