The plot of Dune 2 revolves around Paul Atreides teaming up with the Fremen people of Arrakis, a desert world, to fight the House Harkonnen. In the second part, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux, and Souheila Yacoub join the ensemble cast, while Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem reprise their roles from the first installment. Dune 2, which had a great run in theatres, is almost ready for its digital release. Dune: Part Two, which is now topping the 2024 domestic and worldwide box office.
Know the Makers
Dune: Part Two, which Denis Villeneuve produced and directed, opened in theatres in March of this year to a lot of anticipation. This is the second installment in a two-part adaptation of Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel Dune, with the first part being released in 2021.
