In “Death of a Unicorn,” Rudd and Ortega portray Elliot and Riley, a father-daughter duo en route to a weekend retreat hosted by Elliot’s billionaire boss, Dell Leopold (played by Richard E. Grant). Their journey takes an unexpected turn when they accidentally hit and kill a unicorn with their car. Upon discovering the mythical creature, Leopold becomes eager to exploit its supposed curative properties, particularly its horn, believed to have the potential to cure cancer. This sets off a series of darkly comedic events, especially as the unicorn’s family seeks revenge.
