The truth behind Saif Ali Khan’s alleged role in Shah Rukh Khan’s Main Hoon Naa

Bollywood’s Main Hoon Na, a wholesome and unforgettable masala film directed by Farah Khan, became a cult favorite in 2004. While his chemistry with Sushmita Sen and his on-screen sibling Zayed Khan was unmatched, lead actor Shah Rukh Khan captivated hearts as Major Ram. Actor Saif Ali Khan recently disclosed in an interview that SRK made him an offer to star in Main Hoon Na.

He added that Farah, the director, eventually called him and declined. Netizens questioned whether Shah Rukh had asked Saif to play Zayed, also known as Laxman Prasad Sharma. Here’s what Farah had to say when we contacted her to ask about the same.

Following Saif’s disclosure, HT City writes that they contacted Farah Khan to inquire about the role Shah Rukh had offered Saif in Main Hoon Na. “First I’m hearing of this,” the director responded.

“He (Shah Rukh) once called me for Main Hoon Na,” Saif said to Bollywood Hungama during the promotion of his recently released film Kartavya, which is produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. “There’s a great part,” he added. “And then, Farah called me later and said no, no, no.”
