
After securing a prestigious win at the IIFA 2025 Awards, singer Jubin Nautiyal arrived in his hometown, Dehradun, on Thursday to a warm and enthusiastic welcome from his fans.
Jubin, who won the Best Playback Singer (Male) award for the song ‘Dua’ from the film Article 370, expressed his gratitude while speaking to the media at the airport. “This award is not just mine but that of the entire Uttarakhand. Winning an IIFA Award for the second time is a matter of pride. Homecoming feels good when I see this immense love and enthusiasm. I am happy that everyone is happy,” he said.
Fans gathered in large numbers to greet the singer, celebrating his achievement with cheers and flowers. This marks Jubin’s second IIFA victory, further cementing his position as one of India’s most beloved playback singers.
The IIFA 2025 Awards night, hosted by actor Kartik Aaryan and filmmaker Karan Johar, took place on March 9. The event also honoured veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan with the Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema Award, recognizing his invaluable contributions to the industry.
Adding to the glamour of the evening, Kareena Kapoor Khan delivered a special performance paying tribute to her legendary grandfather, filmmaker Raj Kapoor. Jubin Nautiyal’s win has brought pride to Uttarakhand, and his heartfelt words reflect his deep connection to his roots and fans.
