Justin Bieber returns to the stage a year after canceling world tour

On Thursday night, Justin Bieber gave a surprise performance in Toronto, Ontario, and his wife, Hailey Bieber, is  touting the “jb eras.”

The concert follows a series of social media posts including photos of the singer performing in a studio space. Individuals were excited, believing that the photos were a hint of the 29-year-old star’s comeback to music, one year after cancelling his delay-plagued Justice World Tour due to a health issue with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

Hailey posted two clips from her husband’s set on Instagram. In the first, JB sings soulfully over a basic piano instrumental. “Correct,” she captioned the snippet. In the next, Justin’s knees jump wildly as he performs a new version of his 2010 song “Eenie Meenie.”

Many fans captured the moment and shared it on X, proving that the “Eenie Meenie” revamp was a fan favourite. He also performed “Baby,” “Snooze,” “Peaches,” and “Hold On,” among other songs.

Justin donned a blue-and-gold National Hockey League jersey to the event, having previously served as an honorary captain for Tim Horton’s NHL All-Star Player Draft at Scotiabank Arena. The London, Ontario native was in good company, as other Canadian stars Tate McRae, Will Arnett, and Michael Bublé all served as celebrity captains.
