Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, known for her stellar performances and dedication to her family, recently opened up about how her career positively influences her personal life. In an interview with Gillian Anderson for The Dirty Magazine, Kareena shared that pursuing her passion for acting helps her become a better wife to Saif Ali Khan and a more attentive mother to their sons, Taimur and Jeh.
“I’m like a better parent when I’m on set because I just feel like I’m always a better mother even now and a better wife because I’m doing what I love to do the most. So when I come home, I kind of feel like, OK, now I need to just be completely focused on this,” Kareena explained.
The Singham Again actress also reflected on her journey in the film industry. Coming from a prestigious film family, she revealed that while her lineage played a role, her decision to pursue acting stemmed from a deep personal passion. She credited her career for shaping her into a more empathetic and resilient person, stating she couldn’t imagine herself in any other profession.
Kareena Kapoor married Saif Ali Khan on October 16, 2012, in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. The couple welcomed their sons, Taimur, in 2016, and Jeh, in 2021.
On the professional front, Kareena was last seen in Singham Again and is reportedly set to star in a major feature film slated for release in 2026.
