Kartik Aaryan was taken aback when he saw his fans tumble on each other at the Filmfare Awards on Sunday. The incident occurred when he entered the event and briefly paused to shake hands with some of his fans. A video of the incident is going viral, showing several fans breaking the barricade, creating chaos.
In the viral video, the actor was on his way to the awards ceremony. Fans gathered in big numbers to catch a glimpse of him and he waved and even greeted them. As he walked toward a group of fans standing behind the barricade, the crowd broke through to meet him. Kartik quickly stepped back.
No one seemed to be wounded as fans tumbled on one other in an attempt to glimpse their favourite star. Security arrived on the scene and rushed to control the crowd. The actor seemed shocked by the incident.
