The royal family is trying it’s best to move past the tensions between them since the birth of of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby girl Lilibet Diana. Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton also expressed her excitement and anticipation to meet the new born. She said that she ‘can’t wait to meet’ her niece during a recent public appearance.
Kate along with America’s First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, visited a school. A reporter asked her about the recent arrival of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s daughter, Lilibet Diana. Kate said “I wish her all the very best, I can’t wait to meet her because haven’t yet met her. So hopefully that will be soon.”
The reporter further asked if she had up by asking Kate if she had video chatted with her niece yet. The Duchess replied, “No, I haven’t.”
Kate and William congratulated the couple on Instagram after the arrival of their second child, Lilibet.
The Cambridges took to social media, a black-and-white shot of Meghan during her pregnancy with Harry and 2-year-old son Archie. The picture was clicked by photographer Misan Harriman. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said, “We are all delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie.”
