K-drama fans can’t help but wonder if the Queen of Tears megastar will be sued as more and more proof of Kim Soo Hyun’s purported relationship with Kim Sae Ron is made public by parties claiming to be the late actress’ family via the YouTube channel HoverLab (also known as Garosero Institute).
One of the top paid performers in Korea, Soo Hyun, is currently involved in a scandal that nobody anticipated. But as the rumours continue to spread what is now beginning to seem like solid evidence of his inappropriate advances towards actresses who were underage at the time, Hallyu fans have brought up the subject of the potential criminal charges for a minor sexual offence on numerous occasions.
According to HoverLab, Kim Soo Hyun began dating Kim Sae Ron in 2015 when she was 15 and he was 27. Gold Medallist, the agency of the It’s Okay Not to Be Okay actor, first strongly refuted the allegations. The company was forced to acknowledge the two actors’ relationship after the YouTube channel posted previously unseen images of them, although they insisted that they were both adults when their romance began. The South Korean agency claims that once the Bloodhounds actress reached adulthood, Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron dated from the summer of 2019 to the autumn of 2020.
The inflammatory discourse around these allegations has already sufficiently tarnished Kim Soo Hyun’s formerly impenetrable reputation, despite Gold Medalist’s unwavering denial of The Producers actor’s previous involvement with a then-underage Kim Sae Ron.
