Koffee With Karan: Neetu Kapoor recalls how Rishi Kapoor ‘was never a friend to his children’

The 12th episode of Koffee with Karan season 8 aired, featuring Neetu Kapoor and Zeenat Aman. During the show, Neetu and Zeenat opened up about their personal lives, children, grandchildren, the film industry and more. Neetu also revealed shocking details about her late husband, Rishi Kapoor. The couple has two children together: Ranbir Kapoor, a son, Ranbir Kapoor and daughter, Riddhima Kapoor.

Rishi Kapoor died in 2020 in Mumbai after a long battle with leukaemia. Neetu Kapoor talked about their time spent together in New York during Rishi’s cancer treatment on the show. She stated that, even though the period was tough, she prefers not to remember the sad parts and added that she had the finest year of her life back then.

Neetu also said that Rishi was a very loving guy who never expressed it to his family and friends. She also said that her husband would not be casual and friendly with their children, Ranbir and Riddhima, but he changed in his final days.

She also recalled Rishi’s chemotherapy treatments in New York, acknowledging that, despite the difficult times, there were moments of joy when her husband was in good health. Despite the difficult times, she and the kids had some of the happiest moments of their lives with Rishi.
